This weekend was very productive. On Saturday I removed the the front bumper cover which was quite the chore, the four bolts in the corners of the bumper cover were tough to get to.But patience paid off.On Sunday my son came over and we removed the front bumper assembly, headlight assemblies, and the headlight vacuum tank.We also removed the various wiring in the engine compartment, also removed was the air conditioning condenser.
Next disconnect the brake lines from the mixer valve. Pull the body mount bolts and the body will be ready to be taken off. That will happen on memorial day weekend or first weekend in June. Then a break before I start on the chassis components.

Work Progresses from rear forward
I didn't remove the front bumper and lights as I had planned. So by know you figured out my plans changed.it was for the best a very productive Sunday
First we removed the rear bumper assembly, then we removed the spare tire carrier which needs just a little TLC.The rear wiring harness was pulled back into the body of the car.
Next the battery lead and earth ground were removed. After that we moved to the engine compartment where we removed the brake reservoir giving us access to the rag joint. Then the clutch and gas peddle. The day was now over so we cleaned up and called it a night. Next time work will be done in the engine compartment and the front end.We ran into one issue the shifter refused to be remove from the trans. So with some help from corvette forum this issue should be resolved.
